Am I back?

I've no idea, really.  I know I need to create, and I haven't done so in a very long time.  I'm worried that I've lost the knack for it (though, really, other than my poetry, I'm not sure I ever really had it).  Regardless of talent, though, part of being any sort of artist is seeing the world through an artist's eyes.  And, frankly, the world's a much more interesting place when you view it that way.  I miss that, and I need to make at least some attempt at returning to it.

And so it goes

Two jobs sucks.  As the boss at my real job says, "Two jobs are for two people."  So I quit the crappy one, especially since the other one has decided not to do layoffs. Oh, and I passed my pharmacy tech certification exam (which I was 100% certain I had failed).  It's like I'm being sucked back into the world of pharmaceuticals, like it or not.  But I got a raise even before that, so I guess I can't really complain. Art is falling by the wayside for now.  I barely have time for sleep these days.  The lack of money from being unemployed was a downer, but I sure do miss all of the free time I had.  But now that I'm back to one job, maybe I c

OMG WHERE AM I?

Yeah.  For those wondering where I've been (and I know you're all just dying to know), I'm working again.  Woo.  Give me another week or two, and I'll actually be working sixteen hours a day with an hour and a half one-way commute.  Doesn't leave much time for much else, of course, but hey.  That much more money. So now you know, and you can all sleep better at night for knowing it.

Funny gallery, thanks for the :+fav:
Hey thanks for the watch!
Lotta cool stuff going in your gallery:)
Kate's cats are awesome! :D :D :giggle:
I just noticed you added my photo to your favorites! Thank you so much :)
Most welcome! Night skylines are so gorgeous. I know you think that one's a little too bright, but I really dig the contrast.
Yeah, I wish I had known what I was doing then! What bugs me now is that the lit sign on the Modis building is supposed to be blue. My exposure was too long and it came out white. Technically I could have used a smaller aperture but it's a pain in the ass to trick the meter into doing that on that camera (it had no manual controls).

I got a Nikon D70s a little over a month ago, though... I can't wait until I can take it somewhere really good! I'm hoping to do a hike with a friend on Thursday. We're not really sure where yet, hopefully someplace in the mountains. Well... as long as it gets a bit warmer.
Hey, welcome to Deviant Art! Nice gallery you have here. Hope you'll have a great time here. =D
